Animaking launches series “Past Of Time – History of Santa Catarina” with special event in Florianópolis

Last week (09/23/2024), Animaking held a memorable event to launch its newest animated series, “Past Of Time - History of Santa Catarina”, at the Passeio Sapiens auditorium in Florianópolis. The series, created for the whole family, aims to rescue and tell in a fun and educational way the rich history of Santa Catarina, highlighting important historical characters and events in the state.

The event was attended by local authorities, partners and supporters, including the companies Koerich and Hurbana, which sponsored the launch event. Also present were their families and children, the main audience for the series, who were delighted with the interactive activities offered, such as totems for photos with the characters Isadora and Rex, popcorn, personalized buckets and animated projections that illuminated the Passeio Sapiens building, providing a magical and immersive experience.

During the ceremony, some episodes of the series were shown, taking the audience on a journey through Santa Catarina's past, including iconic moments such as the story of Anita Garibaldi, European immigration and the discovery of the state. The event moved everyone and reinforced the importance of cultural initiatives that connect the past to the present, making history accessible to new generations.

“Past Of Time - History of Santa Catarina” was produced through the first edition of the Culture Incentive Program (PIC) carried out by the State Government, and the Paulo Gustavo Law, through the Prêmio Catarinense de Cinema, granted by the Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (FCC). With a total of 06 main episodes and 30 supplementary episodes, the series, available on the Animaflix channel on YouTube, transports the audience to the magical museum “Past Of Time”, where the adventures of Isadora and her inseparable friend Rex take place, as they meet historical characters and important figures, awakening their curiosity on this journey through time. Each encounter brings a new lesson, revealing cultural aspects and remarkable events that helped shape the history of Santa Catarina.
