This film is a stopmotion animation to raise public awareness about the importance of cleaning a city susceptible to flooding. The proposal was an animation with different characters – animals and insects – in the context of a flood.
Project Concept
This film is a strong institutional campaign. It should use animation resources to portray, in a caricatural way, awareness about the danger of the spread of diseases through the garbage that is spread by floods. It was necessary to create a whole cast of rats, cockroaches and flies, in a setting flooded by water. The language of the film is theatrical and allegorical, in order to develop a film without being excessively disgusting. The film works as an allegory of the city at the mercy of this contamination.
